African Railways Systems is a specialised rail company currently operating in Southern Africa. The company was established in the late 90's when we realised there was a demand to supply services that could revitalise rundown rail networks in Africa. With over 40 years of experience in the railway and logistics markets we strive to provide our customers with cost effective solutions and a very high standard of service.
We source diesel-electric locomotives, general rolling stock, steam locomotives, spare parts for locomotives, mining locomotives, passenger coaches and wagons. Our other fields of expertise are transport logistics, mobile crane hire, shipping, locomotive refurbishment, rail tours, private rail charters, rail film shoots, shunting solutions, track maintenance and the establishment of private sidings.
African Railway Systems have offices in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia and are currently suppling to the whole of Africa, we can also supply Internationally if required.
